The Ultimate Guide Honda Motorcycles: the book
I remember about 7-8 years ago I went abroad to a business connection of my mom and the guy was a biker. Now, I was not into motorcycles back then, so I was very amazed to find some books on motorcycles in his house (in fact I was wondering how motorcycle sick you should be to actually buy books with pictures and history of a make).
Since then, I got into motorcycles, and guess what: I bought my first books on Honda Motorcycles - learning a little bit about the history, seeing the pictures of the first bikes and their evolution in time.
Not sure if you know, but I own a Honda CB750 Nighthawk, which is the descendant of the famous CB750 launched by Honda in ‘69 that changed the way bikes are today. So you can imagine I went directly there and see how the original looked. Also, the Honda story is a nice story about people passion on bikes, and how they developed an empire from nothing (here kicks in my entrepreneurship background).
So here is my latest book I’ve read: 250 full color photos that get you through the entire Honda motorcycle history, with collector pricing and technical specs:
The book gets even better if you read it with a beer by your side, and it’s a must when bragging about your motorcycle knowledge to your Honda fellow riders!

Everything gets better with a beer by your side! My first bike was a 1981 CB 650 Custom. It was a great bike to learn on. I never took a course or anything. I just got my learner’s permit, registered the bike, and started riding it around my neighborhood until I got the hang of clutching and shifting. When I felt ready, I ventured out onto the main roads. I had a lot of fun on that bike. The KZ 550 I ended up with a few years later was shit compared to the Honda.
Even though I’d never go back from H-D now, I don’t forget where I came from. It’s kind of like how you never forget your first girl, you know?
