100 posts on Honda Motorcycle blog

I discovered today that I already have 100 posts on the Honda Motorcycle blog and 198 comments, from you, my dear reader! Maybe 100 posts is not much, but this was a long year for me. Plenty of bikers meetings, riding trips, pictures, interviews and most importantly - a very good time riding my 2 Hondas.

I think that unfortunately now, that the riding season is over, the blog might become a little more boring. I’m adding motorcycle specs, special offers on accessories and riding apparel. Some YouTube movies.

But don’t worry, I just need a little warmer weather to get back to the good stuff. I can’t wait for the next season, and I can assure you it’s going to be a hell of the ride!

  1. How about writing an article about how Honda is shutting down the Motorcycle Plant in Marysville, Ohio where it has built the Honda Goldwing for about 30 years and moving the production back to Japan. This is going to devestate the dedicated Honda Motorcycle suppliers in the USA, many of which are not duel suppliers with the automotive plants. This story of putting small Honda loyal and dedicated suppliers out of business is being overlooked. Honda’s Power of Dreams has become these suppliers “Power of Nightmares”. It’s the new “Honda Way” of becoming a big automotive company and leaving its smaller suppliers as just collateral damage.

  2. Well, Thomas, if you live in Romania like I do, not only that Honda parts are impossible to find as the local dealer (only one anyway) brings parts for what they are currently selling, but also everything that comes here, one way or another, it’s exactly twice as expensive as in US.

So each time, there are some examples to show that it can be even worse.

If here in Romania you can’t really afford having a Goldwing on a regular income, or parts are un-available, doesn’t change the fact that Honda does excellent bikes.
