I don't know about the seat hight, but honda sure has a winner in the nt700v. I bought one in Baton Rouge La. and road it home to Reno Nv. . I hit 200 miles of rain in Tx. High winds in Tx. and N.M. And a dust storm that cut one day short. The bike supplied great weather protection and comfort. Got 52.4 mpg on the trip @ speeds of 55 to80 mpg. Honda has finley made the a light weight touring bike with a little get up and go, I had no trouble passing slow traffic, on the flat or uphill. The last day of the trip I did 700 miles and other than being tired after a long day I felt Great. (No Monkey But} I also I was looking at the BMW F800st but it was to much on the sport side for me to really do a long day. If you don't need a bike for the Autobaun with massive speed & hp the nt700v is about as close to perfect as anyone has come yet.

WHY DOES HONDA MAKE A bike for smaller people, and put a seat on it that's 31.7 inches high??? When will you wake up??? There are those of us who would really like a small tourer but with a lower seat without having to buy a cruiser.... I ride BMW's but the seat height is TOOO MUCH!!!
