Mounting a topcase rack on a Honda CBF600s 2007
I’ve got the Five Star mounting kit. They are a cheaper alternative to the Honda originals, and are of a decent quality. It takes around 15 minutes of easy work to have it done.
Some bits and pieces
The first step is to un-screw the handled at the back of the bike
Fit the spacers. (note – spacers are of a different size and you should check the installation manual to make sure you put them in the right order)
The Topcase rack is going to be mounted on these:
Un-screw this. The front end of the rack will get there.
Make sure you don’t lose these spacers. They should be placed between the body and the rack.
Here is how it looks
On the back of the rack you should attach the screws as well. Note: these screws are a bit long and they might get on the plastic and make a mess. I’ve added some more spacers of my own to make sure I don’t make any damage.
