3 years already? I remember like yesterday riding the bike home and taking the first wash. I also remember me trying to keep in mind how the bike runs new – every sound, shake and feel – because no matter how well you keep it, it will never be new again.
Strangely enough, the first year of owning a new bike wasn’t so glorious. The previous year I had 2 accidents and a broken leg which I never regret but somehow took the joy out of riding. The last 2 years, complete joy!
What went wrong with the bike? Not much. It’s a Honda
I did change: front and rear tire (rear tire lasted 29000km!). New chain and sprockets, handlebar bearing (but I can safely say they took way too much punishment on the very bad roads I’m riding. New battery. Brake pads.
