Last week I’ve returned from my 8118 kn Europe trip: Romania, Hungary, Austria, Swiss, France (Route des Grandes Alpes included), Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and return. It rained heavily, it snowed, it was just right and too hot. But a trip to remember for a lifetime. 39 tank refills, 16 days and an oil change, 1400 pictures all on a Honda CBF600s. I will post pictures from each part of the trip in separate posts, but let’s start with the trip map (thanks google maps):

As you know if you came here before, I’m located in Bucharest, Romania, so the first part of the trip was about getting out of Romania, crossing Hungary and getting to Wien in Austria. It rained heavily from Hungary to Swiss so I don’t have pictures; the rain was so heavy it was like hitting a wall of water… 2 pair of soaking wet boots, 3 pairs of gloves, and at times it felt it was raining directly in my helmet.
Austria was quite nice as we rode along the Danube (got some pictures in a half hour pause between rain):

By the time we got in Swiss, we got rid of the rain. Because it started snowing.

I’ll get directly to France into my next post.

Uffff But this is a really long way. I hope you arrived safe for all. Does not it hurt? All day on the bike?
Heh,
Not long enough! I was just thinking where to go next

Ok then the next time you ride around the world. :0)
